Leh Ladakh Tour Package

On Day 1 of your Leh trip, upon your arrival at Leh airport, you will be transferred to the hotel where your accommodation is booked. Since Leh is situated at a high altitude of 11,135 feet, it is important to take the day to rest and allow your body to acclimatize to the thinner air. The hotel will provide you with a hot lunch to ensure you’re well-rested. In the evening, after you’ve had some time to adjust, you’ll embark on a short local sightseeing tour of Leh. You’ll visit the Leh Market, which offers a vibrant mix of local crafts and products, and the historic Leh Palace, also known as ‘Lachen Palkhar’. Situated on a hill, the Shanti Stupa, which offers a panoramic view of the town and surrounding mountains, will be your next stop. This peaceful site is a perfect place for reflection and appreciating the serene beauty of the region. After the day’s excursions, you’ll head back to your hotel for a good night’s rest, ready for the adventures in the coming days.

On Day 2, after a hearty breakfast, you’ll set out on an exciting day trip to the Sham region of Leh. The first stop will be Likir Monastery, an ancient Buddhist site known for its 75-foot statue of Maitreya Buddha. Afterward, you’ll visit Alchi Monastery, famous for its well-preserved murals and a center of learning for Tibetan Buddhism. Next, you’ll head to Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, a sacred site for Sikhs, built in memory of Guru Nanak’s visit to the region. This peaceful and beautiful gurudwara is a place of great spiritual significance. You will then visit the Hall of Fame Museum, which honors the brave soldiers who fought during the Kargil War. The museum displays historical artifacts, military equipment, and poignant stories of the martyrs. The last stop of the day will be the Sangam, where the Zanskar River meets the Indus River. This confluence is a stunning natural sight where the two rivers are clearly distinguishable due to the difference in water colors. After a day full of history, spirituality, and breathtaking landscapes, you’ll head back to your Leh hotel for an overnight stay, reflecting on the beauty and culture of the region.

On Day 4, after a hearty breakfast, you’ll visit the Deskit Monastery, famous for its massive Big Buddha statue. Situated atop a hill, the monastery provides panoramic views of the expansive Nubra Valley, making it a perfect spot for photography and spiritual reflection. The serene atmosphere and the majestic statue make it one of the must-visit attractions in the region. After soaking in the peaceful surroundings, you’ll begin your journey back to Leh via the same route, driving through the Khardung La Pass once again. The drive back offers more opportunities to admire the awe-inspiring landscapes and high-altitude terrain. Upon reaching Leh, you’ll check in at your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay, reflecting on the beauty and experiences of Nubra Valley.

On Day 5, after an early breakfast, you will depart for the stunning Pangong Lake, located at an impressive altitude of 14,500 ft. The journey will take you through the Changla Pass, which, at 17,350 ft, is the third highest motorable road in the world. The drive offers breathtaking views of the rugged terrain, and the high-altitude landscape is truly mesmerizing. Pangong Lake is famous for its serene and unique beauty, being the highest saltwater lake in the world, and it is shared by both India and China. The lake is known for its ever-changing colors, with shades of blue and green contrasting beautifully against the barren, brown, and grey mountain backdrop. It’s a photographer’s paradise and a peaceful haven to enjoy nature’s wonders. After spending time at the lake, you will begin your return journey to Leh in the afternoon, retracing the same scenic route back to the town. Upon arrival in Leh, check in to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay, relishing the memories of your visit to one of the most stunning places in the region.
