After early breakfast at the hotel we take you to Dalai Lama Monastery and Bhagsu Nag Temple, then We visit Norbulingka Institute which is perhaps one of its best in the world. The institute has its own temple, Museum, Meditation Hall, One thousand, one hundred and seventy-three images of the Buddha decorate the forty-four foot high temple hall, proceed to Manali (6-7 hrs. journey by car) by road, en route visit of Palampur tea garden. After breakfast full day visit to Samker Gompa & Leh Bazaar, Leh Monastry, Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Samker Gompa is little up in the valley, 3 Kms from Leh Town, which is open to visitors in the morning and evening only. The Gompa belongs to Yellow Sect & was founded in 18th Century. Basgo Fort one of the top 100 endangered World Heritage sites and comprising of a 500 year old citadel and a 400 year old mud brick Gompa. Spituk monastery standing on a conical hill with three chapels was founded in the 11th century but the buildings in a series of tiers with courtyards and steps date from the 15th century.
